Wounded Warriors (Baseball)
The Wounded Warriors is a collection of young baseball players who served in various branches of the U.S. military and were wounded (a few lost a limb) during combat. Thanks to prosthetics and other medical procedures, these young men travel the country fulfilling their dream of playing baseball. They are not only competitive ballplayers, they show by their grit and determination that seemingly insurmountable odds can be overcome. They are playing against members of the Detroit Mens Senior Baseball League, dressed in all white uniforms.
